Oregon Oak timbers include native species such as Oregon White Oak (Garry Oak) and closely related hardwoods like Tan Oak. Valued for their strength, durability, and distinctive natural character, these dense hardwood timbers feature rich color variation and pronounced grain ideal for exposed structural and architectural applications. Due to the natural growth form of Oregon Oak, available timber lengths are more limited than softwoods, typically up to 12 feet, making them well suited for posts, braces, trusses, mantels, and feature elements.
